Other Fees

In the unlikely event that we are unable to provide a service to you, such as in the event of frustration of contract, client negligence, dishonesty, unfair treatment, abusive behaviour, a sudden change of management, withdrawal of management instruction or sale of the property or without providing adequate notice of at least 30 days notice, other fees are likely to be applied as set out below.

It is at the full discretion of Harry Albert Lettings & Estates what charges we apply if any of the applicable services listed below are outlined. Upon the termination of our management service, as afforded to us by law, we are entitled to charge any and all reasonable fees associated with our service; for example, if you instruct us to manage your property to take advantage of part of the management service included for free as part of that management service to avoid paying the service cost outlined in our standard pricing tables and then withdraw your instruction shortly after the service has been provided without legitimate cause or reason, the charges for this service may become due in full alongside any other reasonable costs associated with the services provided.

These fees are to ensure our services are undertaken in good faith by the client and to prevent our services from being abused. These fees are charged at the discretion of Harry Albert Lettings & Estates who maintain a zero-tolerance policy to abuse and rude behaviour, in the event of abusive or rude behaviour exhibited by our clients or anyone acting on their behalf, our discretion will be withdrawn and we will exercise our fee structure in full as detailed below.

Each fee charged on an hourly basis incurs a minimum charge of one hour. In the case of communications, where a response is received outside of the end of the period of one hour which requires a further response from ourselves or forwarding to the client, a further hourly charge will be applied. For example, if we are required to contact your tenant, the initial contact will incur a one hour charge, if they reply within the hour and the issue is resolved, no further charge will be applied; however, if the issue is not resolved in that hour, for example if they fail to response before that hour expires, a further charge of one hour will be applied.
